Matthew Robbins AA9YH heads out the starting corridor on the 2m hunt. Behind him is Sam Vigil WA6NGH. On the 2m hunt, there was only one e-punch register at the start, so the two starters had to take turns. For the 80m hunt, two punch registers were put out.

Jen Harker W5JEN heads up the 2m starting corridor.

Working his way through the damp woods on 2m is Dave D'Epagner KØQE.

Harley Leach KI7XF heads down the 2m finish corridor on his way to a silver medal in M60 category.

Mary Cegelski KC8YLC in the 2m finish corridor.

Bob Cooley KF6VSE punches in on two meters to win gold in M60.

Jerry Boyd WB8WFK nears the 2m finish.

Wet but happy, here's Ken Harker WM5R of Texas near the end of his bronze medal winning 2m run in M21.

As he ran in and started to punch at the finish, Jay Hennigan WB6RDV tripped and fell. Fortunately, he didn't break his antenna as he did in the 2m event in 2004, and he happily ended up as the second-place USA finisher in M50.

Bill Smathers KG6HXX passes the 2m finish transmitter and heads into the corridor.

Bob Frey WA6EZV of Ohio has recovered from his 2m run and is comparing notes with course-setter Nadia Scharlau.
