Friday's extra-long finish corridor went through this beautiful field.

Coming up the finish corridor on their way to 80m medals are Bob Cooley KF6VSE (M60 overall gold), Jen Harker W5JEN (D21 overall gold) and Juri Suchy OK1WAY (M40 overall silver).

More medallists in the "never-ending" 80m corridor: Jay Thompson W6JAY (M21 Region 2 silver), Jay Hennigan WB6RDV (M50 Region 2 gold), and Dick Arnett WB4SUV(M50 Region 2 silver). WB6RDV approached the finish from the wrong direction and had to run out the corridor to the end, then run back again to the finish.

Jason Payne KC5HIM holds his daughter as he shows his 80m receiver and map to his wife after finishing his first ARDF championships. Because of business, he had to miss the 2m hunt.

These folks are happy because they just successfully completed the 80m event. At left is Dale Hunt WB6BYU, whose homebrew 80m receiver/antenna project is in the September 2005 issue of QST Magazine.

At the awards ceremony, Team USA mascot Ardee Fox and his sidekick Hamlet received another medal, a special headband from WB4SUV and a koala friend from VK3YNG.

ARRL's New Mexico Section Manager Bill Weatherford KM5FT handed out medals and congratulated the recipients. Thirteen-year-old Emily DeYoung K4MLE received Region 2 gold in D19 category on both bands.

Matthew Robbins AA9YH won overall silver on 2m and overall bronze on 80m in M21 category.

Vadim Afonkin was overall gold medalist in M21 on both bands.
