All three of the Australian visitors won medals in their respective categories.
Brigitte Roethe was one of two visitors from Germany. Gerhard Kottschlag (not pictured) also medalled in his category.
In the Region 2 division, Nick Roethe DF1FO represented Canada.
Amy Wang and Jenny Wang from New York brought out the USA flag as they accepted medals.
Bill Smathers KG6HXX, Joseph Huberman K5JGH, Jay Hennigan WB6RDV and Nick Roethe DF1FO won Region 2 medals in M60 category.
Eduard Nasybulin and Joseph Burkhead were Region 2 M21 category medalists.
Kelly Sears was Region 2 W50 category medal winner.
Pat Maley KD8PAT and Ruth Bromer WB4QZG were Region 2 winners in W60 category.
Ken Harker WM5R, Vadim Afonkin KB1RLI and Evghenii Vorsin KD2MZT were among the Region 2 M40 category winners.
Some of the Region 2 M50 category winners were Nicolai Mejevoi, Patrick Sears AK4JE and Fred Mailey K8FCM.
USA's mascot Ardee Fox got a medal, too, and was very popular with the Chinese students.
On Sunday morning, it was back to Miami Whitewater Forest for the 80-meter classic competition. The finish area was the same, but the starting area was alongside the 85-acre lake. The map covered the northern part of the park.
This family of ducks enjoyed the rain.
There was a deep overcast as these competitors lined up at the starting line with their maps.
